Straddling the Fence is Not an Option

The term “Straddle the Fence” is simply a metaphor used to describe ones attempt to not be on one side or the other completely.

One particular scripture comes to mind:

Jas 1:6 –Jas 1:8 (KJV)
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

When referring to Kingdom living, the life reality is, no man can straddle a fence for a living and be successful.

Soon you’ll be forced by discomfort to alter your position.

Straddling requires your legs to be wide apart. There is no way in this position you’d ever obtain any long term comfort.

You’re easily tipped over because of you stance.

Standing without sitting is impossible, and sitting on fences doesn’t sound like fun at all. LOL

How long can you keep up this charade?

Rev 3:15 –Rev 3:16 (KJV)

I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Your position determines your possession. – © 2008 Kristal Kleer Publishing
