MAMA’S MESS- by Kristal Giles

Your vision being clear with regard to your relationships can impair the opportunity of those whose desire is to use you to further their personal agenda’s.

Relationships wear all types of disguises: some are called mama disguises, father disguises, there are even friend disguises. Snatching these disguises from in front of faces of those you entertain gives you the real story behind your relationship with them and its value.

Like toto in the Wizard of Oz pulling the curtain that revealed the fallacy of the “Great Oz” So Mama’s Mess exposing the hidden danger of deadly relationships.

This book is for all of those that understand the pain of dead-lation-ships. This book is for those who seek answers for how to get out of those ships and into the cruise liners of life that float up the island coasts of peace and happiness despite Mama’s Mess.

Here are just a few reviews of my first book:

I finished your book at the airport yesterday and just broke down crying. Only God could have given you the strength to be able to write such a powerful book! – Ms. Edora (Washington, DC)

This book is informative on so many levels: 1) All the while I was reading Mama’s Mess, I just wanted to love my son more. I was constantly conscious of my mothering him, making sure he is all right. (calling him to my side for hugs and to tell him I love him); 2) Your openness and honesty sets the example for those of us who feel the need to hide mama’s mess to help keep up her perfect image;3) Gives us courage to once and for all take a stand, if for no other reason, the sake of the childern; – Ginger (Philadelphia, PA)

Thank you for sharing your story with me. Writing Mama’s Mess to courage and perseverance. You are a gifted individual, and you express yourself well. The book is Disturbing, Provocative, and Challenging.

I appreciate your handling of the word and sharing the insight God gave you. Your story challenges me to examine myself, to assess where I stand as a man.- C. Gist- (St. Louis, MO)

Reproving the Works of Darkness 101

Wednesday, March 11th, 2009

I am sure that this not the type of thing you are used to seeing in this day and time we live in. However, it doesn’t change what the Word of YHWH dictates as a true believers responsibility.

Galatians 1:6 –Galatians 1:9

I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of the Messiah unto another gospel/evangel:
Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of the Messiah.

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed (ban, excommunicated).

As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

True believers are to reprove the unfruitful works of darkness:

Ephesians 5:6 –Ephesians 5:18

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of YHWH upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the YHWH. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Messiah shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

vs. 21 21Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

This word SUBMITTING means to treat or regard as of lesser importance … becoming a servant to one another, esteeming your brother above yourself..

Philippians 2:3-5

Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Yahushua the Messiah:

Here are a few words i’d like to define for you from the Ephesians 5 passage:

REPROVE: (greek word is pronounced el-eng’-kho)to confute, admonish:—convict, convince, tell a fault, rebuke.

FELLOWSHIP- greek word is pronounced: soong-koy-no-neh-o

don’t share , co-participate, company with: communicate, have fellowship with, be partaker of OR with them. (this includes offerings, purchasing products: anything that would partner you or put you in league with someone.)

This also includes discussion, association, union, companionship, instrumentality, EVEN RESEMBLANCE (meaning don’t mimic them)….

The Word goes on to discuss the works of these who are false as

UNFRUITFUL-
Meaning: barren, without fruit… as vine which has been plucked from the source.. something not connected to the plant… (he is the vine we are the branches….. JOHN 15:5

John 15:5
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.)

Now, here is the part which many don’t know or realize is even in the Bible:

1. Because they fail to read it for themselves

and

2. Because those who lord over them with false authority keep it hidden. If people knew that their preachers and all those who “teach” the Word are to be accountable and can be challenged by the Word, they would not be able to be in false authority anymore.

More Words Defined from the passage:

The Word goes on: SHAMEFUL -it’s not good taste, propriety/ right or fitting, not good etiquette/ meaning the customary code or polite behavior..

SECRETLY: to speak of what they do in private

WALK: live, follow the path

CIRCUMSPECTLY: exactly/with exactness (Matt. 7:14 narrow is the gate)(on purpose, with precision), diligently (showing carefulness, concern), perfectly (maturely)

REDEEMING
the time: (take or gain possesion of) (every opportunity)

UNWISE: (choice to be stupid, mindless, ignorant, egotistic, be practical not rash, unbelieving {this is not just about what you think but in your actions/lifestyle)

UNDERSTANDING: comprehending

WILL: (purpose, choice, decree, desire, pleasure)

REMEMBER THIS:

But rather REPROVE them:
greek word el-eng’-kho

- confute: meaning prove to be wrong
- convict : meaning declare someone to be guilty of a criminal offense by the verdict of a jury or the decision of a judge in a court of law….

THOSE WHO BELONG TO THE FATHER KNOW WHERE THIS VERDICT IS DERIVED FROMTHE WORD

AND WHO THE ALL WISE JUDGE ISTHE FATHER

WE ARE HOWEVER, THE JURY WHO SPEAKS ON THE JUDGES BEHALF, WHOM HE HAS INSTRUCTED TO BRING IN THE VERDICT.

1 Corinthians 5:9 –1 Corinthians 5:13
I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within (speaking of the body/church)? But them that are without (speaking of the world/heathen) God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

To put away a wicked person who is in the “body” or pretending to be apart of the body means they will have to be judged.

How are believers to judge?

1. By their fruit/actions/behavior

Matthew 7:15 –Matthew 7:21

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

2. As Yahushua said judgement should occur; righteously

John 7:21 –John 7:24

Jesus answered and said unto them (the Pharisees, who were the religious fools of his day/false teachers), I have done one work, and ye all marvel. Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man. If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day? Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

Those who are false don’t want to face judgement. They are above accountability, and correction: so they misuse scripture (i.e Judge not lest though be judged) to cover their tracks, and their backs (sides) and to make those who would oppose them or challenge them back down, and feel and inferior or out of place. They don’t understand, neither do the people who fail to read the bible understand, that this particular passage is directly dealing with the body judging non-believers… Not the body judging one another as needed.

Luke 6:36
Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

The subject here is giving mercy to the heathen: (read the entire chapter and follow the conversation)

Luke 6:35 makes clear who the subject is:

for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. (no believers mentioned here.)

37Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: 38Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

AGAIN, THIS STATEMENT REGARDING JUDGEMENT WAS NOT TO EXCUSE THOSE WHO ARE POSING AS HIS CHILDREN. THE WOLVES IN SHEEPS CLOTHING, THE POSERS, THE INFILTRATORS are to be REPROVED, EXPOSED….

Judging is not the issue, but rather whom and how you judge. (search the scriptures and you’ll find more in this regard)

In the Body of Messiah a.k.a the CHURCH, there are no big eyes and little u’s. There is no hierarchy. The bible is clear in this as well.. Yet deceivers attempt to make you feel beneath them, as if they are over you. Here is what Yahushua spoke to his disciples:

Matthew 20:25 –Matthew 20:28

But Yahushua called them (his disciples) unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

If we are in the Body, how can the eye be in charge, and the foot be of lower significance. Does the arm take lower position to the fingers? NO, the body works together.. Yahushua is the head, not men, and the body is fitly joined together. Each part doing its part.

My ought is Ty and others like her, deceiving the people, she is obviously not my family in the Kingdom therefore she is do nothing more than exposure. Ty is an opportunist. If she were actually apart of the body, I’d have to follow other steps before escalating the situation. I did however attempt to share my ought, because I know her, yet she rejected.

I was raised in the “church”. I know the things which happen behind closed doors. I know the discussions and what is taught to those in false authority as it pertains to the people (whom they call the laity/those whom they consider beneath them)

Ephesians 4:11 –Ephesians 4:12

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting (not controlling) of the saints, for the work (not working the saints for personal gain) of the ministry, for the edifying (not lording over) of the body of Messiah:

This is the job, but they have done this instead:

2 Peter 2:1 –2 Peter 2:3

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not

.

Going back to Ephesians for a moment:

Ephesians 4:14 –Ephesians 4:16

This is what the Truth of the word prevents:

That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

This is what the body is to do:

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

It is my job to expose the lies and to give the sheep the truth. I am not one who is a heirling – one whom is bought and paid for by the men who put me in office. My call, grace and gift is not of men or by men, but of and by YHWH, therefore i don’t seek to please them: only HIM.

Galatians 1:10

For do I now persuade (pacify, assent to the authority of, have confidence, obey, trust, or yield to) men, or God?
or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of the Messiah.

1 Thessalonians 5:6

Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch (pay attention) and be sober (don’t be deluded).

False teachers are those who say one thing and do another. They also can not handle scrutiny. Accountability is beneath them. I am no stranger to Ty, we do actually know one another very well.

I will never jump in a persons face without good reason but will always defend my Father’s name, and the body (the family reputation).

You may enjoy some of her teachings. The problem is, most people don’t take the time to see if what she is teaching lines up with the Word of YHWH. It’s all an emotional feel good. People get enamoured by what they think they see, as some form of success. The attitude of most is: She is in a “spotlight” so she must know what she’s talking about. Dr. Ruth was in the spotlight and she was a crazy little perverted mess..

Paul jumped in Peters face: Galations 2 (family should be able to do this without being offended. Especially when you know you are wrong):

Galatians 2:11 –Galatians 2:14

But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.
For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision. And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation. But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?

Peter accepted the correction because he was a true disciple (he was of the family) and accepted that he was in error. Ty and other false teachers will never accept when they are wrong: they will drop little cliche’ phrases here and there and skate around the real issue, all the while trying to save face and appear as something they are not. They are not in the body, but are wolves in sheeps clothing who capitalize on the weak and ignorant.

2 Timothy 3:1 –2 Timothy 3:9

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

They make merchandise of the people.

2 Peter 2:3a
And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you:

They don’t teach the Truth of the Word, but another gospel as Paul called it… they are for the itching ears crowd.2 Timothy 4:3-4

Here is what a true minister does:

2 Timothy 4:2 & 3

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

People spend more time listening to men, and less and less time knowing what the voice of the Father sounds like, because they are not in relationship and they don’t read the Bible so they’ll know the Father’s character. Soon his voice is replaced with those whom people have elevated as their gods, and then when their life is a wreck they are trying to find out why. In desperation they then run to him and say, “how did you let this happen to me, and help me out here.”

I showed up on one of her recent posts and asked a direct question and made a straight forward comment: correcting the lie which was being proposed. Read the PDF Facebook | Ty Adams.pdf to see the original conversation. I have ought with Ty, and with any other who falsely call themselves by the name of my Father: exhibiting contrary fruit, and misleading the people.

Remember this: Things are not always as they appear. I admonish you to beware as the Bible so often spoke. Many people walk around like everything is ok. There is much deception in the earth. Those who are easily deceived are those who don’t read the Word and have personal relationship with the Father for themselves. Those who are in true relationship see the wolf afar off and are able to warn the sheep that they be not destroyed. Warning comes from sound, not from silence.

I was asked this question by someone whose eyes have opened to what is really going on in the “institutionalized church”:

Question:

Would God really punish me for exposing a fake prophet???Well, not even exposing but putting them in their place??? I’ve had a few people get upset with me, and throw some scripture from the bible at me…(I don’t remember what is is) but they use the same one every time. I just don’t understand why some people feel that they are more important to God than I am…
Such foolishness…

This same person whose eyes were wide opened is now overtaken by this situation between Ty and I. Although she saw the truth, she has been snatched because of her emotions, and she is now back were she started (being a lover of men instead of a lover of YHWH).

I will leave these final scriptures with you:

Mark 4:2 –Mark 4:9

And he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in his doctrine, Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow: And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up. And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth: But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit. And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred. And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Mark 4:14 –Mark 4:20

The sower soweth the word. And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended. And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

Luke 8:17 –Luke 8:18

For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad. Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.

This is the season which the true messengers of the gospel will go forth and collecting, gathering up and exposing all things that offend in the kingdom, and them which do iniquity. That word offend refers to the things that bring scandal, the things which trap, causing stumbling and occasion to fall: the things that cause sin)

Judgement begins at the house first.

Familiarity Breeds Contempt

Monday, December 1st, 2008

There is an old adage which states these words, “Familiarity Breeds Contempt”

Before we get started i’d like to first define the key words that will be the foundation of our discussion.

Familiarity

• the quality of being well known; recognizability based on long or close association

Contempt:

• disregard for something that should be taken into account

The Phrase familiarity breeds contempt indicates that extensive knowledge of or close association with someone or something leads to a loss of respect for them or it.

This adage was taken from one of Aesop’s Fables titled “The Fox and the Lion”.

In the fable there was a fox who was terribly frightened of a lion. He initially ran when he’d see the lion, but the next time he saw him, he stopped at a safe distance to watch him pass by. Feeling a bit of confidence/familiarity, the fox went straight up to the lion and began to converse with him. At the end of their conversation, the fox turning his tail: walks away from the lion as if it were nothing to be concerned about.

In this fable we see contempt on the part of the fox as it pertains to the lion. The fox should not disregard the lion as an enemy however he makes himself familiar with the lion and doesn’t take into account the danger which the lion could cause him.

Today, I’d like to share the original source from which the phrase, familiarity breeds contempt came from: (The Bible). I’ll be sharing a particular account from a Biblical perspective.

Mark 6

1And he went out from thence, and came into his own country; and his disciples follow him.

2And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands? 3Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.

4But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. 5And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. 6And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.

What do we see here?

Familiarity & Contempt!

Who was it that was familiar with Yeshua?
-those from his country (where he lived)
-his kinfolk (extended family/spiritual family/family by nationality)
-those in his household (immediate family)

Here are the things that clearly indentified their familiarity and contempt for the Son of God (Yeshua)

- Where does (this man) get the things he teaches? They know him, but he is referred to
through the use of pronouns.

- From what wisdom is this, which cause such miracles?

- Ain’t this Mary and Joseph’s boy? (they start to discuss their association, whether
close or distant, it matters not).

- And they became offended at him (they put themselves in a position of dishonor against
him, rather than in a position to receive).

What did these people get as a reward of such familiarity?

NOT MUCH!

MARK 6:5

5 And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.

This was brought back to my attention, as a few days ago I came across someone who is familiar with my family. When she met me online I was greeted with all of the accolades
that one could give. and I quote:

“Hey Crystal, Glory to God.
You are a dynamic young woman on fire for the Lord. I appreciated viewing your site and I could learn a thing or two from you. Where are you based? You look so familiar? Have we meet? You favor the daughter of one of my close friends. I have not seen her in a while so I am not sure. At any rate. Looking forward to hearing from you and spending time with you.”

Faithfully in His Service,

I sent her a return email right away, interested in what ways I might be able to assist her. That was 16 days ago. I have since heard nothing from her. I don’t know, but it doesn’t take me 16 days to respond to an email, and anyone who is in business of any kind as this woman is, is no stranger to their email program, but rather very intimate…LOL

As long as I stand alone, I am awesome and all the other things, but if by chance you realize that I am just the daughter of…. Then now I am not so awesome after all?
Knowing where I came from doesn’t change who I am. If you allow yourself to become familiar with those around you, you will certainly miss out on whatever God has for you through them.

See, it wasn’t that Yeshua couldn’t do miracles, it was that the people’s unbelief was so strong it would not have been of any benefit to them or to him had he done them.

They didn’t doubt that he could do miracles, that he could speak with great wisdom etc., but their doubt was in accepting him for whom he really was: The Son of the Living God.
They refused to accept that Yeshua was the son of God, and there was nothing that he could do or say that would change their minds about this. To them he was just Joseph, and Mary’s boy. He was just the young boy whose father was a carpenter whom they bought their furniture from. Nothing more!

Their refusal of the facts didn’t change who Yeshua was, it only prevented them from receiving from him, and in turn receiving from God who sent him.

I had another woman pursue me after she listened to my music online. She began to ask me questions and then shared her desire with me. Her desire was for her daughter to learn how to sing. At the time we first started our dialogue I was not aware that I knew this woman and she was not aware that she knew me.

We started with small conversation and it led to this, and I quote:

Q:

“just have one thing to ask you how long have you been sing?”

A:

since i was 3

Q:

I ask that because my baby want to sing and can’t i know that you hear that all the time I want to know what to do to help her dream come true!

A:

How old is your daughter and what is her gift??
I will need to know details in order to help you more effectively.

Q:

I am so sorry for my ebonics but didnt have my glasses on. and i am not asking for a hand out or any thing like that! I just think thats its a blessing to have a gift to sing and to be able to share it with his people(your voice )

A:

It’s never considered a handout when people ask of me, sis.
It’s only a handout mentality when people ask of others with nothing in mind to bless them in return… I don’t think that is the spirit by which you asked, but must make certain that we are on the same page.
Communication is essential in any relationship. In it’s absence is only confusion.

I am always willing to help my family. I have just learned that true giving isn’t giving until it hurts and giving to people that don’t love enough to make sure while I am giving to them my needs are also being met.

In the words of Paul:

Philippians 4:11-13

“Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. 12I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

2 Corinthians 8:13-14

13For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened: 14But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality:

this is what true principle of giving is

The Church in Acts the “original church” took care of one another.. the Bible declares that none of them had any lack:

Acts 4:34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, 35And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.

My gift is not my own therefore I am ready and willing to give it as my Father instructs me to give it. When I go to minister in Word or song I don’t charge a fee, but I am also not expecting that someone would call upon me without desiring to be a blessing in some way. The gift is free but should never be prostituted. You must need to hear this for yourself, for your own life.

I welcome helping your daughter with her desire to sing, and I am sure that I can help you in more ways than you realize. My question to you was, “When you asked me the question regarding helping your daughter with her dream, what did you have in mind to do for the person that you asked the question of?” What had God laid on your heart concerning me?

I don’t have a problem with your ebonics….LOL nor your question sis. I just want to know where you heart is at, and what my Father spoke to your concerning me….

KNOW THEM THAT LABOUR AMONG YOU…

Much love…

This was her final response to my statement regarding her request until she found out who I was:

so, now that we have all of the introductions out of the way. Let me know what God speaks to you concerning what we talked about.

what else is new?….

The bottom line is this conversation was October 16th and since that time I have heard nothing from this woman, whom when she didn’t know me thought it important to share with me her desire to get her daughter vocal training. Her familiarity has caused her not to receive me.

Ok, so now, back to the Word of God.

When people become familiar with God, they don’t listen to what he says.
As a result of religion and what people think they know, they thus ignore the Word of God and the example Yeshua set.

This is what happened to Uzzah in 2 Samuel 6.

You read it.

The ark of God rested in his families house for a time. Uzzah became familiar with it as a result of it resting in his home. There were rules and regulations as it pertained to how to handle the ark. When Uzzah touched the ark to “keep it from falling” he was violating several laws. His disobedience resulted in his death.

Don’t let your familiarity with God cause you to overlook His Word. Don’t let familiarity cause you to disregard what He speaks to you regarding others around you. Don’t put yourself in a position where you are unable to receive from God, because you have a familiarity with his people.

Familiarity Breeds not only contempt but it blocks you from receiving from God.
