Your vision being clear with regard to your relationships can impair the opportunity of those whose desire is to use you to further their personal agenda’s.

Relationships wear all types of disguises: some are called mama disguises, father disguises, there are even friend disguises. Snatching these disguises from in front of faces of those you entertain gives you the real story behind your relationship with them and its value.

Like toto in the Wizard of Oz pulling the curtain that revealed the fallacy of the “Great Oz” So Mama’s Mess exposing the hidden danger of deadly relationships.

This book is for all of those that understand the pain of dead-lation-ships. This book is for those who seek answers for how to get out of those ships and into the cruise liners of life that float up the island coasts of peace and happiness despite Mama’s Mess.

Here are just a few reviews of my first book:

I finished your book at the airport yesterday and just broke down crying. Only God could have given you the strength to be able to write such a powerful book! – Ms. Edora (Washington, DC)

This book is informative on so many levels: 1) All the while I was reading Mama’s Mess, I just wanted to love my son more. I was constantly conscious of my mothering him, making sure he is all right. (calling him to my side for hugs and to tell him I love him); 2) Your openness and honesty sets the example for those of us who feel the need to hide mama’s mess to help keep up her perfect image;3) Gives us courage to once and for all take a stand, if for no other reason, the sake of the childern; – Ginger (Philadelphia, PA)

Thank you for sharing your story with me. Writing Mama’s Mess to courage and perseverance. You are a gifted individual, and you express yourself well. The book is Disturbing, Provocative, and Challenging.

I appreciate your handling of the word and sharing the insight God gave you. Your story challenges me to examine myself, to assess where I stand as a man.- C. Gist- (St. Louis, MO)

Mama’s Mess Book Review from Ginger of Philadelphia, PA:

Wow, Kristal, if I I didn’t know you speak the truth, I would have thought you would have had to make, at least, some of this stuff up… but then again, as someone who has had her share of Mama’s mess, I totally understand.

This book is informative on so many levels: 1) All the while I was reading Mama’s Mess… I just wanted to love my son more. I was constantly conscious of my mothering him, making sure he is all right. (calling him to my side for hugs and to tell him I love him); 2) Your openness and honesty sets the example for those of us who feel the need to hide mama’s mess to help keep up her perfect image;3) Gives us courage to once and for all take a stand, if for no other reason, the sake of the childern; 4) The failed CPS system and how easy it is to get caught up in it;

I am so proud of you. I anxiously await the book of your Knight in Shining Armour and when you knew he was the man God ordained for you. Surely he is the unseen hero. (we see you; we see the Lord)

You deserve a standing ovation, with the crowd yelling “more, more, more, more” ((((((with a loud thunderous applause))))).

I am so excited to know you,

I love you, lady. Keep doin it.

5) Lets us know the seriousness of the mess. If you go soft, you will experience the very thing you fear, Mama’s mess; 6) What’s with moms and money? 7) I left town 2 days after high school graduation… I can now imagine the extent of damage I would have experienced had I stayed; 8) I made the final disconnect Thanksgiving 2008, now I know … I did the right thing;

9) Don’t go emotional. Just allow God to guide you out, VICTORIOUSLY!!! 10) I need to buy a copy for the women who I know NEED it (hopefully, before it’s too late.)
11) Just when I thought I had it bad…I read your book. 12) I can go on and on and on…sufficeit to say, Absolutely a must read for any woman with a “mama” or who is/has the potential to be a “mama.
